PHILOSOPHY:

The philosophy of Our Lady of Victory sports program is to instill a positive attitude, sportsmanship, basic fundamentals, confidence, and high moral standards in our student-athletes. Our Lady of Victory's Sports Programs develop the physical, psychological, and social aspects of our student-athletes.  Our programs emphasize participation, fun, and sportsmanship.   Participants, parents/guardians, and coaches are expected to support this philosophy.

 

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:

Each parent or guardian must complete the following requirements.  All PAPERWORK AND MONEY ARE NOT TO BE GIVEN TO ANY COACH. It should be turned into the athletic director or the office.

  • 2019-2020 OLV Sports Permission Form and Ethics Form
  • Student must have a current year physician's release to participate, a sports physical within the last 12 months of the sports season - Health Appraisal Form
  • Parent/Student-Athlete Handbook Acknowledgement - Not required at this time
  • Pay the sports fee to help cover league fees. This can be paid in cash or check, made payable to Our Lady of Victory.  Fees are as follows:
    • $10 per student, per sport (except for varsity basketball and bowling)
    • $20 for boys and girls varsity basketball
    • Bowling is determined by the venue

 

ATHLETIC PROGRAMS

 

Fall Sports

  • Varsity Baseball - Open to boys and girls in grades 6 - 8
  • JV Baseball (Co-ed) - Open to boys and girls in grades 5-6
  • Cross Country (Co-ed) - Open to boys and girls in grades 5-8
  • Soccer (Co-ed) - Open to boys and girls in grades 1-8

 

Winter Sports

  • Varsity Boys Basketball - Open to boys in grades (5) 6- 8
  • Varsity Girls Basketball - Open to boys in grades (5) 6- 8
  • JV Boys Basketball - Grades (4) 5 - 6
  • JV Girls Basketball - Grades (4) 5 - 6
  • Cheerleading - Grades 4-8

 

Spring Sports

  • Track and Field (Co-ed) - Open to boys and girls in grades 3 - 8
  • Girls Varsity Softball - Open to girls in grades (5) 6-8   

 

**(4), (5) and (6) indicates permission may be required to play and those grades may be used to field a team.
